Cherry Biscuits

Quick, simple and easy to eat.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup margarine / butter
- 2 egg yolks
- ¼ tsp almond essence
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1½ cups flour
- 20 – 30 glacé cherries
Preparation:
- Cream fat and sugar. Beat in egg yolks and essences, then blend in flour sifted with salt.
- Roll dough into balls and place on an un-greased baking tray. Flatten slightly and top with quartered cherries.
- Bake at 180° C for 10 – 12 minutes.
Makes 40 – 45 biscuits.
